Hello fellow iRacers! If you haven't checked the following post then feel free to do so for an introduction (post #769 just above) : /gb/forum/ViewTopic.asp?TopicId=11965&PostId=3959020#post3959020 So if you didn't have the time to dedicate to the game then it became hard to play because you couldn't just jump on and do a quick race if you didn't already have a lot of experience at the track. Whilst this is a great system to make sure you don't have people playing the game like an arcade game and ramming other people, it means that every week you needed to spend a lot of time learning the tracks and practicing your lines before giving qualifying a go and then racing. As your safety rating goes up you u lock different classes of cars and if your safety rating drops you lose the ability to use these cars. Obvious things such as crashing into other cars will cost you rating points but you also lose other points for simple things such as putting a wheel onto the grass. And I'll explain why Įach player in the game has a safety rating that goes up and down depending on how clean you race. I don't speak for the others but I had to stop playing because I didn't have the time to play properly. Lagg? To difficult (only 50K players so only the really good play it)? to long races? If not cheap and still subscription why don't you play then? I don't play iRacing, so I can't really tell you the negatives, but all I know is that there aren't alot of cars, and most of them are USA content, such as USA's racing tracks or series, though Spec Miatas seems to be loads of fun, with very close racing as every cars (and maybe the setup?) are the same for everyone. It took me 2 days to properly setup my wheel, and another couple of one to put a clean hotlap. I was good on GT, so when I started rFactor I was pretty confident.

Also you can get mods from pretty much every field.
63 AI drivers, which difficulty can be modified. Maybe you should try getting a grasp on rFactor? You don't need the very best of the computers to run it, and the physics are really good aswell.

It is good, I tried loads of different driving games and it terms of the response of the cars and track visuals its right up their with the best. Still got over a year left on my sub as I bought a 2 year deal for the price of 1 last year, might have to get it sparked up again for a blast! If ever your membership (access to the game) lapses and then you re-sign back up, all the previous content you purchased is still their, so you don't lose it. They also regularly have offers on for 3m membership and annual membership. However, far better to go for some multi buy deals which makes it far better value. You get 7 cars and 10 tracks with a basic membership and then you pay for additional cars and tracks, normally around $11-$15 dollars each.
Used to play it quite a bit, not been on for ages.
